Reading 1
Resilient successful work behaviour

Main features

In the lecture, I distinguish between successful work behaviour and Resilient successful work behaviour.

If a professional demonstrates that he/she meets the qualifications in accordance with the professional skills of the profession he/she practices, we speak of successful work behaviour.

This work behaviour does not necessarily have to be supported by personal qualities that the person has developed during his/her life. It can be work behaviour arising from enthusiasm, social compliance, imitation or coercion.

Only when personal qualities that suit the person form the basis of successful work behaviour (personality) do we speak of healthy, resilient, successful work behaviour. I refer to those developed personal qualities as chances of successful behaviour.

In the lecture, I use anecdotes from my professional life to clarify the importance of the biographical perspective on resilient, successful work behaviour.

The lecture tries to seduce the listener to think about their chances of successful behaviour, the risks and the limitations.

The model of Resilient professional progression is clarified as an aid.
