Exercise 1
Opportunities for resilient successful work behavior

Main features

In the introduction of the training, I distinguish between successful work behaviour and Resilient successful work behaviour. If a professional demonstrates in practice that he/she meets the qualifications in accordance with the professional skills of the profession he/she practices, we speak of successful work behaviour.

This work behaviour does not necessarily have to be supported by personal qualities that the person has developed during his/her life so far. It can be work behaviour that has arisen from enthusiasm, social compliance, imitation or coercion. Only when personal qualities that suit the person form the basis of successful work behaviour (personality) do we speak of healthy, resilient successful work behaviour. I refer to those developed personal qualities as chances of successful behaviour.

During the training, the participant visualizes the different facets of his/her chances of behaviour and learns to think about his/her own successful and less successful experiences at work.

In the training, I use anecdotes from my own professional life to clarify the way in which you can think about the different facets of personality to indicate the importance of the biographical perspective on successes and disappointments.

The training tries to seduce the participant to think about their own chances of successful behaviour, the risks and the limitations. The guided visualization of the facets of the personality is a personal action. The participant/star decides for himself to what extent he wants to share the findings with other people present.

The facets from the Reflector Big Five personality questionnaire are used as a tool.

The training also makes the participants think about the qualifications that are supposed to be present with them when performing their profession.

During the preparation, the trainer consults with the manager of the organization taking the training, which accents are desired.
